Antes disso, pertenceu ao famoso Juiz Veiga, que foi o conselheiro do último Rei de Portugal, D. Carlos, assassinado em 1908. O juiz morreu em 1934 e a propriedade foi deixada para suas filhas.
Before that, it belonged to the famous Judge Veiga, who was the counsellor of the last King of Portugal, D. Carlos, murdered in 1908. The Judge died in 1934 and the property was left to his daughters.
Nos anos 1950, João Rogado, o avô materno de Tito comprou a casa e mudou-se para cá. Tem estado na família desde então.
In the 1950s, João Rogado, Tito’s maternal grandfather bought the house and moved in. It has been in the family ever since.
O avô de Tito plantou a vinha original que acabou por ser tomada pelo Pias Wines em 1973.
Tito’s Grandfather planted the original vineyard that was eventually taken over by Pias Wines in 1973.
